As well as my backpacking adventures, I've also had a few more fun experiences abroad.

Egypt: At the start of summer 2004 I went to Luxor, Egypt, for a week's holiday. Luxor is an ancient city surrounded by wonderous temples and tombs and breath-taking sights. Click here to see the photos. |

Romania: At the end of summer 2004 I went to Romania as part of the
DAD-UK program. I spent two weeks at a summer camp near Bacau teaching English, playing games, organising activities, planning parties and generally having great fun with Romanian kids and teenagers.
It was definitely one of the greatest times of my life and now I love Romania and its hugely friendly people. On this trip I also spent a few days in Brasov

Paris: I also spent the third year of my degree in Paris. My university was actually in Orsay (l'Université Paris-Sud), but
I lived in the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris for 10 months, from September 2004 to June 2005.
Paris really is an amazing city and I had a fantastic time there...there is no other place like it and once you've fallen for Paris, you can never forget the unique experience of living there...I still miss it to this day...
