When I left England to backpack around the world. I originally set out with 3 good friends of mine, however, they were hit by the bane of all backpackers, an empty bank account. This meant that they had to return home halfway through the travels, leaving me to fly solo and explore Asia for the final 4 months. After a wealth of amazing adventures and experiences I returned nine months later armed with a rather large truck-full of memories and information to share. This section of Go Gap is divided as following: 'The Team' - Info about my friends and me, and why we were crazy enough to try this adventure. 'The Route' - Detailed maps showing the route I took around the world. 'The Kit' - A complete list of all the kit I crammed into my backpack.
